Product Warranty

The products sold by METZKOV ENGINEERING SRL are either original parts or interchangeable with original parts, as listed in the catalogs and lists published by the manufacturer. Legal warranty is provided in accordance with Law no. 449/2003 on the sale of products and associated warranties. The warranty covers manufacturing defects or hidden flaws.

For individual consumers, the legal guarantee of conformity is provided in accordance with the legislation in force, for a period of 24 months from the delivery of the product.

Commercial warranties offered by manufacturers, importers, or distributors may have different durations and conditions and do not affect the consumer’s legal rights.

For legal entities, METZKOV ENGINEERING SRL provides a commercial warranty of 12 months from the invoice date, in accordance with the warranty conditions, without affecting the rights provided by law regarding hidden defects.

Products that exhibit manufacturing or functional defects during the warranty period will be repaired or replaced with identical new products, or — if the product is no longer in production — with similar or superior products. Resolution time will not exceed 15 calendar days.

Warning regarding off-road products

Please note that some of the products presented on this website are intended for off-road vehicles, motorsport competitions, recreational use, or modified vehicles.

Some products may not be approved or certified for use on public roads. The customer is responsible for checking the compatibility of the product with their vehicle, as well as the legality of its use, before installation.

The use of these products on public roads, on modified vehicles, or in off-road/competition conditions is done at the customer’s own responsibility.

This notice does not affect the legal warranty for manufacturing defects or hidden defects of the product.

Warranty is not granted in the following cases:

• The product was not installed in an RAR-authorized service or by the vehicle manufacturer.
• The product was installed incorrectly or together with worn, defective, or modified parts.
• The product was used for other purposes or on other vehicles than those indicated by the manufacturer.
• The product shows signs of normal wear from vehicle operation.
• The product has been damaged by accidents or external factors (impacts, dents, thermal/electrical/mechanical shocks, etc.).
• The product’s serial numbers/codes/markings cannot be identified.
• The vehicle is not registered or the technical inspection (ITP) has expired prior to the warranty claim.
• The vehicle was used for purposes other than those specified by the manufacturer or was operated under inappropriate conditions (e.g., racing, vehicle modifications, overload, etc.).

To request warranty service, the following documents are required:

• The purchase document issued by METZKOV ENGINEERING SRL
• Proof of installation by an RAR-authorized service (invoice + service report)
• A copy of the vehicle registration certificate
