- Description
Gearbox adapter plate designed to connect first-generation BMW M57 engines and the 204 HP M57N variant to Nissan Patrol Y61 ZD30 / TD42 gearboxes. Intended for BMW engine conversions retaining the Nissan Patrol transmission.

Important: This adapter is compatible only with first-generation BMW M57 flywheels featuring a 290 mm outer ring gear diameter. Flywheels with a 310 mm ring gear are not compatible, as they do not fit the adapter configuration and the starter motor cannot correctly engage the ring gear. Verify the ring gear diameter before ordering.
Important: M57N compatibility is limited to the manufacturer-listed 204 HP 306D2 EU3 variant. Compatibility with other M57N / M57N2 variants is not confirmed.

Installation
- Flywheel and clutch configuration must be selected according to the engine and gearbox combination, respecting the ring gear diameter restriction
- For the Nissan Patrol Y61 ZD30 RE4R03A automatic transmission, an additional PMC MOTORSPORT torque converter adapter is required
- Depending on the vehicle, modifications to engine and gearbox mounts, firewall, transmission tunnel or driveshaft length may be required
Important: This adapter is not a complete conversion kit. The flywheel, clutch disc, pressure plate and release bearing must be selected for the complete transmission configuration. The components recommended below are alternatives for different setups and are not all required together.
Important: Intended for motorsport and track use only. The manufacturer specifies installation by professionals experienced in engine and transmission conversions, using appropriate workshop equipment.
